Upon moving back to South Florida, I found I missed the coffee-centered community. In an attempt to fill the void, I set-up a home espresso bar and roaster in my garage. This gained significant traction with my friends and family. Soon, my living room was filled with interesting characters and very lively conversation. Each cultural renaissance of modern times has had a cafe as the backdrop. We discussed numerous cultural and forward-thinking concepts for SFL, our home. Finally, at the behest of some dear friends that put their time and energy into building a second home, we moved my living room to the farmers market. The farmers market quickly turned into various community events. Reflecting, as the second store opens its doors, I want to thank everyone. The community we have built is comprised of remarkable people – each person has taught me something that they are passionate about and proud of. Join us in promoting a culture surrounded by coffee.
